In 2009, EIW started to summarize the results of energy audits conducted in SMEs to calculate sector specific energy benchmarks and summarize the most common recommendations in sector-specific brochures.

Sectors covered:

  • Service sectors: Hotels, Restaurants, Food retailers, Non-food retailers, Offices, Hairdressers
  • Production sectors: Butcheries/Meat Processing, Bakeries, Carpenters, Printers, Metalworking, Car repair workshops

Most of this information has been published in German, but some of the results have also been used in international projects. Bochures on selected sectors published in English, Croatian, Greek, Macedonian, Polish, and Romanian can be found here.
