ESP: Energy Efficiency Hungary Austria

The ESP cross border project supports SMEs of the Hungarian Győr-Moson-Sopron region to increase their energy efficiency.

Besides cross-border event for energy advisors and SMEs, information material for five selected branches will be published in German and Hungarian.

Prior ranking goal of ESP is awarness raising of the SMEs in the project region of energy topics with emphasis on increasing the operational energy efficiency,

Aims of the project:

  • Businesses in the project region become more energy efficient and more climate friendly through an increase in the offer of information, networking opportunities, as well as (subsidized) energy consultancy (the latter primarily in the Győr-Moson-Sopron region).
  • Up-to-date sector-specific information materials are available for businesses as well as energy consultants in Hungary and Austria.
  • Identification of success factors for sustainably introducing support programmes related to energy efficiency for businesses in a city/region.
